How to Restore the Brokenhearted and Train God’s People

It's not easy to keep your heart in tact after life takes a beating. But God can heal a broken heart and restore your spirit's strength. These Bible scriptures for heartbreak will help you through this difficult time.

Life in the Kingdom

A person in God's kingdom is one who has been granted life in the heavenly realms because of his relationship with Christ. This is the "kingdom" to which Jesus referred when He taught us to pray, "Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10).

When a person comes to faith in Christ, he is saved from his sins and receives the Holy Spirit. This enables him to live according to the rules of the kingdom. This includes obeying God's laws of love for God and others. This is known as kingdom obedience.

Christians are citizens of the kingdom of God and are called to follow Him wherever He leads. When they obey His law of love, they fulfill the ultimate purpose of their lives. The Bible tells us that our lives are a witness to others of the reality and power of the kingdom of God. It is only through a life lived in submission to Jesus that we can proclaim this truth.

God's kingdom is a place of blessing and joy. This is reflected in the teachings of Jesus that are often referred to as the beatitudes (Matthew 5:3-12). Many people wrongly think that living by kingdom principles is restrictive and boring, but Jesus debunked this idea when He began his teachings with the words, "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 5:3).

It is important to understand that God's kingdom exists in hostile coexistence with the kingdom of Satan. The kingdom of God works on the basis of selflessness and sacrifice while the kingdom of Satan works on the basis of selfishness and greed. Jesus came to destroy the kingdom of Satan and to establish his own kingdom based on love and self-giving sacrifice.

When the king of God's kingdom is fully established, peace will reign on earth as it does in heaven. This will mean that all of God's laws of love will be obeyed by his citizens. The world will be at peace; human sickness and disease will be healed; and the earth will be productive.

Relationships with God and with others

God created us for relationship. He longs to have a family with us for eternity. He patterned the physical to mirror the spiritual, and He created marriage to be an example of the intimate relationship He wants with us.

He created a perfect relationship model with Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, but they rejected it by sinning against Him. Sin separates us from God because He is a holy God and cannot dwell with sin. But when we go before Him with a repentant heart, confessing and genuinely forsaking our sins, he cleanses us, anoints us and sets up residence in our hearts (Jeremiah 31:33; Psalm 97:10).

Surround yourself with other Christians to sharpen your walk with the Lord, like iron sharpens another iron (Proverbs 27:17). It is also important to maintain relationships with those who are not believers, so that you may be able to share Christ’s love and gospel message with them. He is the best friend, helper and defender you will ever have. He will never leave you or forsake you. He is the greatest love of all! You can call Him Abba, Father. He modeled this intimacy for you in the gospels when he took on human flesh and cried out, "Abba, Father"!

Purpose in life

A common question is what our life's purpose should be. The answer is not a one-size-fits-all. Rather, it is something that's deeply personal, and it can change over time. Many people find their sense of purpose in the relationships with family and friends, while others find it through a professional or religious calling. Some find it by pursuing their hobbies or passions that give them a feeling of accomplishment. And, of course, some seek to make a difference in the world by advocating for an issue or donating their time and money.

Finding a meaningful purpose in life is more than just a fun hobby; it's actually good for you. In fact, studies show that having a sense of purpose can lengthen your life and reduce the symptoms of depression. It can also increase your happiness and boost your life satisfaction.

For example, if you're interested in animals, helping children learn to read, or making the world a more beautiful place, your answers could reveal that your life's purpose is to help alleviate suffering or create joy in other people's lives. You don't have to work on these issues full-time, but it's a good idea to start by looking at the areas that speak to you most clearly and see how they can be integrated into your daily routines.

In addition, it may be helpful to ask yourself whether you're happy with the way your life is now and if there are ways that you can make things better. Often, people who are unhappy with their current situation discover that redefining their purpose gives them hope and helps them move forward.

Despite the fact that most research on purpose in life has focused on people living, affluent societies, we can still learn from some of the findings. For instance, many people around the globe view family as their most important source of meaning in life. Then, they consider how they can use their skills and resources to protect family members and the larger community. And, if they are unable to protect their loved ones, they focus on preserving natural resources for future generations.

Spiritual growth

Spiritual growth is a process by which believers in Christ become more and more like Jesus. This is a natural process that takes time and requires a daily commitment to reading the Bible and having a conversation with God. It also requires meeting with other Christians on a regular basis.

Spiritually mature Christians from La Familia De Dios has a clear understanding of God’s nature and work. They will have a growing love for God and will be able to talk more confidently about the gospel. They will be able to help others grow as well.

In addition to spending time in prayer, it’s also important to spend time with other Christians from La Familia De Dios during the week. This can be through small group meetings or attending church services. It’s also helpful to attend Bible studies and other ministry events. These experiences will provide you with the encouragement and support you need to grow.

It’s also important to recognize that the things of this world cannot heal a broken heart. If you are relying on someone or something else to fill the hole in your life, you need to surrender those things to God. For example, if your heart is broken over a relationship, you should not continue to date people until you know if God wants you to stay with this person or to let them go.

Lastly, you need to make sure that your motives are pure in all that you do. This means that you need to be willing to serve God whether it’s through your job or in your home. It’s also helpful to memorize key verses from the Bible that speak about what it means to live for God. This way, you can recite them in your mind and heart whenever you need to.

As you grow spiritually, you will begin to understand the deeper root of your sin. It’s not just your road rage or looking at porn, but the ways in which you have been holding on to bitterness and unforgiveness. It will take time for your heart to mend, but through Christ you can do it.
